John R Rankin, Ph.D of mathematical physics, senior lecturer in the Department of Computer Science and Computer Engineering, La Trobe University, Australia

Dr J R Rankin has done research on Applied Mathematics and Cosmology at Monash University, Cosmology, General Relativity and Mathematical Physics at the University of Adelaide, followed by Computer Graphics at RMIT and Queens University, Computer Graphics, Fuzzy Logic Systems and Games Technology at La Trobe University and Universidad Dortmund and most recently Wireless Sensor Networks at Charles Sturt University Study Group and Federation University.


Sitalakshmi Venkatraman, PhD in Computer Science, with a doctoral thesis titled "Efficient Parallel Algorithms for Pattern Recognition", from National Institute of Industrial Engineering in 1993. Prior to that she was awarded MSc (Mathematics) in 1985 and MTech (Computer Science) in 1987, both from Indian Institute of Technology (Madras) and subsequently MEd from University of Sheffield in 2001.

Sita has about30 years of work experience both in industry and academics - developing turnkey projects for IT industry and teaching a variety of IT courses for tertiary institutions, in India, Singapore, New Zealand, and more recently in Australia since 2007. She is currently the Information Technology Lecturer and Discipline Leader for Business Information Systems at Melbourne Polytechnic.Shespecialises in applying efficient computing models and data mining techniques for various industry problems and recently in the e-health, e-security and e-business domains through collaborations with industry and universities in Australia. She has published seven book chapters and more than 100 research papers in internationally well-known refereed journals and conferences. Sheis a Senior Member of professional societies and editorial boards of international journals andserves as Program Committee Member of several international conferences every year.


Shui Yu, currently a Senior Lecturer of School of Information Technology, Deakin University, Australia.

Dr Yu's research interest includes Security and Privacy, Networking, Big Data, and Mathematical Modelling. He has published two monographs and edited two books, more than200 technical papers, including top journals and top conferences, such as IEEE TPDS, TC, TIFS, TMC, TKDE, TETC,ToN,and INFOCOM. Dr Yu initiated the research field of networking for big data in 2013. His h-index is 28. Dr Yu actively serves his research communities in various roles. He is currently serving the editorial boards of IEEE Communications Surveys and Tutorials, IEEE Communications Magazine, IEEE Internet of Things Journal, IEEE Communications Letters, IEEE Access, and IEEE Transactions on Computational Social Systems. He has served more than 70 international conferences as a member of organizing committee, such as publication chair for IEEE Globecom 2015, IEEE INFOCOM 2016 and 2017, TPC chair for IEEE BigDataService 2015, and ACSW 2017.He is a Senior Member of IEEE, a member of AAAS and ACM, theVice Chair of Technical Committee on Big Data of IEEE Communication Society, and a Distinguished Lecturer of IEEE Communication Society.
